A 100-year old Malay house which was taken down piece by piece from the mainland and reassembled on the island. The four posters of the master bed are part of the house’s structure. The only modern aspects are the bathrooms and the kitchen.
The high ceiling aids the house in its ventilation whilst the thatched roof exudes a feeling of warmth.
Opening the wooden shutters in the morning to peek into the natural habitat of monitor lizards, pink water lilies, water buffalos and hornbills is just magical. This traditional Malay home has one master bedroom, 3 other bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, one living room and a kitchen.
This is the house that the founders of Purveyor of Dreams Sdn Bhd started with and still enjoy every time they have a chance. It is their dream and it may rub off on you.
